When I was in Calgary in September I wondered around the city taking pictures of strangers. I wanted to shoot some photos of people with my Pentax 6×7 medium format film camera, but I didn’t have any models. I figured I might as well just go walk up to people on the street ask them if I could take their picture. Everyone was pretty cool and I got some good shots.
My friend Corey came along for the adventure and filmed it all. I did the edit myself because that’s how I prefer to do it. If you want to see how the day went check out this video. Shout out to everyone who said yes (and no I guess π) in the video.
I will do some posts with some of the pictures of the people from the video in the next little while.
Thanks for stopping by, Rob
PS: If you have a youtube account please like the video and leave a comment for me. It’s helpful π
This was fun! I love to watch people pose for photos. The couple…she removed her mask, he held her close….so sweet.
Ya that couple was so cool for sure! π I’m happy you enjoyed the video.
Sounds like you had a fun day. Cheers
Thanks Kelly, fun day for sure! π
I often struggle with getting good pictures of people when I’m travelling. One one hand, if you ask people permission they pose for a shot but if you want a more natural candid picture you can’t ask permission first and it’s a little rude.
Good video.
Haha ya I hear you man. It’s definitely a dilemma. Thank you for watching the video and I’m glad you like it. π
I hope the comments work this time! I went over toYouTube and liked.
This post is lots of fun, and you are as cute as ever!!!!
Haha thank you so much! And yes the comments are indeed working. I am glad you like the video π
Lots of fun!
When I met you, you were doing The People Of Calgary!
haha yes! That was a fun little project.
