When I shot this photo I had posted my self up at the turning point of this path. This way I could see who was coming up the stairs and decide if I wanted to take their picture or not. I saw thing guy walking up and waited for him to look directly at me before I took the picture. It’s fun to get the people looking right at you from time to time when shooting in the street :).
The woman in the second picture actually stopped and talked to me for a moment and I was happy to meet her and her little Westie! Those little doggies just happen to be my favourite kind.

Yes it does have that type of feel hey :). I have been through SF, but haven’t really spent any significant amount of time there. I need to get down around there more often!
