I’d say we had a pretty decent fall here in Calgary this year. The two prior falls I experienced in Calgary were a lot shorter and winter blasted in from out of no where. This year it kind of eased its way into winter and I was able to adapt and mentally prepare for the Eskimo lifestyle I was about to endure. I took this picture a week or so ago, it has since snowed and this time it’s not melting away.

Nice image. So, are you a recent Canadian? Or recently moved to Calgary?
Recently moved to Calgary. Was in in Vancouver and Seattle before that! However, I also lived in Toronto for a while, so I am familiar with winter :).
It sort of eased itself in and out and back into winter haha!
Great photo!

Haha for sure!
We had our first bit of snow today in Grand Rapids, Mich. It feels like winter is certainly on the way here, too. I’d prefer to keep that Eskimo lifestyle at bay — at least a bit longer.
Haha ya you and me both!
Those snow flurries yesterday turned into snow showers overnight. Looking out over the downtown Grand Rapids skyline today, I see a lot of rooftops dusted with snow. I think it’s safe to say fall is on its way out. On the upside, the city has started decorating for Christmas, so if it must snow, at least it will look like a holiday winter wonderland here soon.
Haha yes at least we have that! 🙂
That photo has a nice warm “feel” to it. If you hadn’t told me I would have thought it was a nice warm summer shot.
Agreed :).
