Street photography in Portland is great! The city is dense enough to have busy streets and the streets are beautiful. This is the perfect combination for getting good street shots, at least that’s what I think.

I was just playing around in Lightroom last night editing some old photos. If you read this blog you know I have been trying to make my pictures a little darker these days and I thought these wet Portland pictures would be a perfect fit for that style of edit. Anyhow, this is what I came up with. I like the style and I hope for continue making pictures like this. Of course my natural instinct is to go bright, so I’m certain there will still be that, but I am going to definitely find a balance.
