Camera: Sony NEX-7 & 16mm f/2.8 with Sony Fisheye Converter ~ Settings: f/16 – 1/800th – ISO 1600
These types of newer style condos are everywhere in Vancouver, BC. When I was editing this photo my wife walked by and even asked me, “That’s crazy, is that Vancouver?” haha. Even though I agree it is very Vancouver’esk, this is indeed in here in Calgary.
Note: I made a rookie mistake in these shots. I had turned the iso way up for another photo and forgot to turn it back down before shooting these. WHOOPS!ย

Thanks for stopping by, Rob
So cool!
Thank you! ๐
OK. These are perfect to me. What would have changed if you had the correct ISO? You realize I am learning from you! ๐
I was shooting in Aperture Priority, so a lower iso would have made my shutter speed lower and more importantly would have provided a less noisy and sharper image :).
Very nice shots, Rob. The rookie mistake explains the police van in the second shot. ๐
Also, congratulations on being featured on the WP post on themes for photographers. Nice to be recognized.
Thank you and thank you David! ๐
Still, amazing shots! Love the fisheye. ๐
Thank you very much ๐ And ya, the fisheye is fun for sure!
