Yesterday I went to do some street shooting by the river here in Calgary and I decided to make a video while doing it :). If your interested in street photography you might like this.
Video shot with a Canon 5D mark iii & 16-35L with a Rode Videomic Pro
Bellow are the photos in order as they appear in the video. All photos were shot with a Nikon D300s & 50mm 1.8D.

Great video…Makes me feel more normal in my attempts at street photography. I’ve suffered all the same problems. It takes a lot of effort to get something that looks so effortless. Cheers Rob! – Chris
Thank you very much! And I couldn’t agree with you more :).
Fun to watch your process Rob! Thanks for sharing. Love the Calgary scene, there.
Thank you! I had fun making the video :).
You look very stylish. I would have been flattered to have been photographed. I do wonder.. Has anyone ever gotten mad at you? I so wish I was brave enough to do this! I love candid moments.
Thank you so much, you are very kind to say so! 🙂 I haven’t had any one get mad at me yet! But I am sure my day will come haha.

I am assuming you meant place in Calgary, so I will go with that :). Crescent Road & 2nd is a favourite spot of mine for a wicked skyline shot. Also, over at Tom Cambell’s Hill Park has a really nice view. You can take a walk around Princes Island and then maybe stroll around downtown and I’m sure you’ll find some great shots. Let me know if you need a tour guild and I’ll be happy to show you around ;).
