Penticton Winter Night

I took a little zip down to Penticton BC last night. I wasn’t there to shoot photos, but I thought it would be a shame to not at least try and get one shot while I was down there. I figured something by the beach would be good but it was really dark so I knew I’d need to point the camera at something other than out onto the lake. I also only had a 50mm lens with me, so I landed on this spot. I’m sure this would be a nice summer picture, but the peacefulness of the scene here is nice too.

Thanks for stopping by, Rob

  1. Beautiful shot. 50mm lenses are really very versatile. I used a 35mm ƒ/1.4 (50mm equivalent) on my Fuji X-Pro1, and I loved it (I wore out the X-Pro1, Fuji rebuilt it and then I wore it out again). I’m using a 23mm ƒ/2.0 on my X-E1 (40mm equivalent). Although, I still have the 35mm.
