Last weekend I was at my local Starbucks enjoying a coffee and testing out a new photo editing app (Pixelmator, verdict is still out). Once my editing time was up / coffee was done, I started walking home. When I got to the top of the hill I stopped to take in the sunset that was falling behind the city. Naturally I had a camera with me, so I pulled it out and put on my Nikon 100mm f2.8 AIS (manual focus) lens and shot this photo. I love this view of the city and I think this shot reflects the beauty of this vantage point.

I just don’t find pixelmator intuitive. Beautiful sunset
Ya I’m not sure how I feel about it yet. Filterstorm was awful and a big disappointment and photoshop touch constrains you to 1600 x 1600, so I’m not to keen an going that route, however I might just have to give it a try before I settle on Pixelmator. We’ll see. Thanks about the picture.

I’ve been here since 1990 and trust me when I say that since the Bow has been built, I actually look at the city scape, when approaching by car from any direction, with appreciation, and dare I say it, Calgarian pride!
