On Saturday I decided to head back to the Peace Bridge. This time I wanted to shoot something a little wider, so I brought my 6D & 28mm 1.8. It was a nice day in Calgary, so there was lots of people around and no shortage of photo ops. Here are a few of the ones liked best.
Camera: Canon 6D & 28mm 1.8 ~ Settings: 1/100 – f/20 – ISO 200
Camera: Canon 6D & 28mm 1.8 ~ Settings: 1/25th – f/22 – ISO 100. (I used a slow shutter speed on this photo so you could see the movement of the runners)
Camera: Canon 6D & 28mm 1.8 ~ Settings: 1/3200 – f/1.8 – ISO 100
Camera: Canon 6D & 28mm 1.8 ~ Settings: 1/4000 – f/1.8 – ISO 100
Thanks for stopping by, Rob
Nice shots, Rob! I really like the one with the musician. Excellent point of view.
Thanks Mike, that is my favourite one too! I had to get in pretty close on that one and quickly because of the wide angle haha. But even though I was so close I don’t even think any of those people noticed me haha. Ninja style 🙂
what a gorgeous bridge! And beautiful photos, too!
Well thank you very much. I like that bridge too! Looks like it’s from the future 🙂
Beautifully captured. well done! 🙂
Thank you 🙂
Striking.
Thank you! 😀
Amazing! 🙂
Thank you 🙂
Awesome place!
Ya I love this bridge 🙂
Fascinating bridge and your busker shot really captures the feeling. I’m intrigued by the light/colours of the first: is it HDR?
It really is hey! And yes as for that first image. It sort of is and HDR, the image is just one frame, but I edited it with and HDR editor :).
It works beautifully 🙂
I love the perspective shots. Great job. –Curt
Thank you Curt! 🙂
Hi there, Rob, thanks for liking my post! I’ve just started blogging for the first time in my life and your ‘like’ provided a huge encouragement …:-). I like all about travel & photos & experiences – your bridge photos look great!
Hey that’s great! And thank you about my pictures 🙂
The first is a strong shot with the (HDR?) and leading lines of the bridge and I too like the interaction between the people in the musician shot-tells a story.
The first shot is a edited in an HDR way, but it is actually just one frame 🙂
