Last week I took my Labrador dog Juneau up to a local park here in Kelowna called Knox Mountain. I wanted to take some pictures of her, but I wanted to try something new (or old depending on how you look at it). I decided I’d try getting a few 35mm film photos of her. And as if that wasn’t going to be enough of an adventure, I figured I might as well try and make a video of it at the same time haha.
Lucky for me Juneau is a very well behaved dog and has such and easy going demeanour that doing both of these things at once with her really wasn’t all that difficult. I don’t do a lot of pet photography, so I cant really say other dogs would be more difficult, but I have to image they would be. Give the video a watch and tell me what you think.
Camera used to film the video: Sony V-Z1
Stills camera for photos in the video: Canon EOS 3 & Sigma ART 50mm f/1.4
Film: Kodak Gold 200
Thanks for stopping by, Rob
What an awesome video, Rob! I LOVE Juneau! She’s a beaut! Great shots too! Cher ๐
Thank you so much Cher! I’m so happy you like the video and Juneau. She is such a good dog. ๐
Ah, that’s great to hear! She sure looks like a sweetheart!
Juneau is such a good girl! She looked so regal in that last photo. Yeah, I like the shorter format…..but that’s just me. ๐
Thank you so much for the feedback! ya I think I’ll try and keep with the shorter format. Will probably have more people watch the whole thing that way. . . But ya Juneau is so good ๐
Ohmygosh! That was SO fun!!! Juneau is an amazing model! And YOU – I can imagine you with your own television show – taking us all on adventures with you and your camera. ๐
haha wouldn’t that be nice! Thank you Karen :). But ya Juneau is a wonderful model indeed!
