So last month I got an email that said (among other things) “You were recommended for the Calgary Event Awards as an amazing event photographer”, I’ll leave out all the other boring stuff, but that line pretty much says it all. Anything like that is always nice to hear, so with that email I tossed my hat in the ring. Then a week or so later I got another email that read “Calgary Event Awards 2017 – Finalists” and then “Congratulations!” blah, blah, blah. Nice! I guess some other people kinda like what I do too. So as it turns out I’m up for Best Photographer and it’s between two other photographers and myself. The awards are on March 2nd, so I’ll be sure and let you guys know if I win or not. 🙂
