Waiting for Trains

I posted one of these pictures on my other blog “The People of Calgary“. I thought these 2 pictures went well together so I thought I’d share them here. I shot these on a little street photography excursion downtown in Calgary a couple weeks ago :).

  1. love the shallow depth of field. And that canon 50 prime lens is a treat, have one too. There’s a dedicated group on Flickr you might want to check out if you haven’t already. Thanks for liking my project at driftlessworld.com!

    1. Yes the 50mm is my favourite for sure! I also have the Canon 50L, but sometimes I’ll still use the 1.8 if I feel like packing around a light set up πŸ™‚ Anyhow, thanks for stopping by here πŸ˜€

    1. Thank you Lana, but I was actually using my 50mm 1.8 mark i for these shots πŸ™‚ I like to use that lens if I don’t feel like luging around the weight of the 50L haha. But ya, the 50L is definitely what’s up! πŸ˜€
