My son Joshua was home sick from school yesterday. Actually we are both feeling under the weather at the moment. Rather than just sit inside the house house all day I though it would be good if we got out for a bit. So we hopped in the ol Westfalia and cruised down to a beach that I knew had a little trail beside it that we could walk the dog on. Even though we didn’t go on a super long walk, it was still good to get out for a little while.
Right when we arrived at this beach we saw this eagle dive down into the water and scoop a fish right out of the lake! It was insane. Sadly I only had my 50mm lens on my camera so I couldn’t get any good pictures of the eagle. I did shoot this one photo just have have something. Thankfully the Sony a7R ii is a 42.4 megapixel camera and I could crop in like crazy to even get the image I got. In the last picture if you look to the top right corner you can see a eagle flying with a fish in his talons and a seagull chasing him.
Shot with a Sony a7R ii & Sigma 50mm 1.4 (Canon) ART via Metabones adapter (Sony mount Sigma 50 ART)
