I shot some photos with my Instagram friend Shannon a few weeks ago and just go the film back last week. I sent the film to a place in Winnipeg Manitoba (more on the place another time) because there is no professional place in Calgary to get film developed. Anyhow, I was shooting Kodak Ektar 100 film with my Nikon F5 SLR. I’m super happy with the results! The 2nd photo was supposed to look a lot different though. In my mind I had pictured the second photo with more light and a darker background, but I didn’t have nearly enough light coming out of my flash. Ah well, I figured I’d share it anyhow. As for the first shot, it came out pretty much how I pictured it in my mind, so I’m really happy with that one. Shooting film is tricky because you have to get it exactly right in the camera straight away! No post to fix stuff in, I like that. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, Rob
I think the photos turned out great. You had fun going old school with the film?
Thank you so much! Yes it was a lot of fun. The only thing I didn’t like about it was how extremely expensive it was!!!
