I shot this photo on Saturday night. I actually had plans to meet up with a friend of mine, but then at the last minute he informed me the plans were a no go. At first I thought to myself, well that sucks. Then I thought, hey no problem I’ll just make plans with myself! I grabbed my camera and headed out the door for some solo fun.

I took this picture at one of my favourite view points in the city on Crescent Road. I was shooting with my Fujifilm X-E1 and my manual focus Canon FD 50mm f/1.2 lens. I prefocused on the bench I was sitting on and hopped on the bench. It took a few tries as it always does in a situation like this, but it was good fun and I got this cool picture out of it. 🙂
