This sunset looks particularly crazy because when I shot the photo there was some massive forest fires burning in the area. The entire region was covered in smoke and Coeur d’Alene was right in the thick of it. The smoke provided quite the hazy looking sunset, so for the shot it actually helped my situation. Of course forest fires are bad, but at least you can pull something positive from them if you try.
