I shot this place yesterday and thought it was pretty cool, so I figured I’d share the pictures here. This place is just a few blocks down the street from my house and is selling for a whooping $1.7 MILLION Dollars! It’s a wicked house, but I would hope you could get a little more for 1.7 million, not in Calgary though.

wow, the photos are gorgeous!!! I’m sure the home owner will absolutely love them! Yes…while the house is awesome is doesn’t look like what I would expect a 1.7 million dollar house to look like!
Thank you Heather! Ya you’d think 1.7 would get you a little more right! Haha. It is in a super good location thought. The subway is close by and you could walk downtown from here no problem. But still, 1.7 million is crazy!
It is lovely, but how big is it, really? Any space for a huge book case ?
It’s a decent size, but not massive by any means. There was a downstairs too, but I didn’t even go down there. I’m sure there would be plenty of space down there for such a thing.
Not sure I would pay that much for such a house, though I suppose it is in the eye of the beholder eh – they only need one person willing to spend that much!
Looking through the pictures, I was a little concerned about the closeness of the road? Is that a road? And snow? What happens if a car looses control and slips through your living area or into your bedroom at night?
Ya I wouldn’t pay that much for that house haha. It’s all the location of the house. As for the road, all the houses in Calgary and for the most part Canada are about that close to the street and it is rare a car will smash into someones house. Also, the master bedroom is on the 2nd floor ;). It might just be how the picture is, but the house really wasn’t abnormally close to the street. Anyhow, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts!
