Pioneer Courthouse Square

exif-data-rob-moses-canon-6d-17-40mmJust a little more of Portland here. This spot is defiantly one of my favourite places in Portland. If I grew up here I’m sure I would have ended up hold’n it down at this place a lot. There are so many places to sit, the trains go by here in every direction, there is a Starbucks and there are beautiful buildings surrounding it. These are all things that make for a wicked meet up spot in my mind. It kind of reminds me (in that way) of the Art Gallery in Vancouver, BC. Always people hanging out and events from time to time. I’m sure I’ll be back here sooner than later!

The Mount Baker Block

exif-data-rob-moses-canon-6d-17-40mm-lThis beautiful building in Port Townsend, Washington was put up by the first mayor of the city Charles Eisenbeis in 1889. If you like old buildings like this, a visit to Port Townsend is a must. The whole town (although it is small) is filled with such gems. I’m not sure when my next trip down that way will be, but I can’t wait!

Abandoned Car

Canon 6d 17-40mm exif data rob mosesI went out on a little photo adventure with a friend of mine over the weekend. My friend┬áhad scouted the location of this abandoned┬áfarm on another trip he had done in the area. After walking around the spot for 15 minutes or so, I noticed the car. I knew right away I was going to like the final product. The car is just placed in the perfect spot near the shore of the lake. Pretty crazy to think that car was once something special to someone and now it’s just sitting in the middle of nowhere slowly decaying. . . Ah well, out with the old and in the new I guess hey ;).

TriMet

exif data rob moses canon 6d 17-40mmThe public transit in Portland, Oregon is great! I’m the type who prefers the train over driving, so the public transportation system in Portland is greatly appreciated by myself and other like minded people. Pictured here is TriMet train #235 making its way around the city.

Pool On The Beach

exif data rob moses canon 6d 70-200mm f4 isThis is a pretty wicked spot to hang out at! I shot this one while chill’n out pool side in Mexico this winter. I wouldn’t mind being back there right now. Pretty amazing how it could be so awesome all year around. Maybe it’s time I packed up and moved to Florida! čśť

Abandoned

rob moses exif data canon 6d 17-40mmWhen I was down in Mexico recently I had the pleasure of poking around an abandoned section of a resort. From what I heard these places got hit by a hurricane and the people who owned them didn’t have insurance and decided not to brother fixing them up. The site had a bunch of these little houses and a main entrance with a bar and other amenities (will post picture of that place another day). It’s a shame nothing ever became of these places, because even in the shape they are in now, it doesn’t seem like they couldn’t be fixed. I’m sure right after the hurricane they were in much better shape too. Oh well, I guess the people who owned them must have been in a tight spot. Too bad!

Colourful Night

exif data 6D 17-40mm rob moses

I took the streets of the East Village last night. I ended up down by the river on St. Patricks Island to grab this shot of the Skipping Stone Bridge with a very colourful city in the background. The lights on the water look pretty cool too.

Waiting for the Times

This is a really random shot I snapped while walking down the street in Port Townsend, Washington with my son last year. He wasn’t actually waiting for anything, just climbing around like kids do :).
