I wanted to take a picture like this, but I didn’t have the location. I knew I wanted some lights in the background and I needed some kind of street light to hit me in the front. I drove and walked around Kelowna for about 2 hours before I found this spot. I tried a few other locations, but they just weren’t right. I’m sure the photo would have been fine in one of the other spots, but the shot I had in mind was this and I knew if I looked hard enough I’d find what I was looking for. I’m glad I kept looking, because this is pretty much exactly what I was thinking and it’s always a good feeling when the idea you have in your head becomes reality.
