I had zero plans on jumping in on a picture last night when I ran out the door to see if I could get a shot by the lake. When I got to my photo location it was already pretty dark (darker than I wanted), but I shot a bunch of photos anyhow. I could kind of tell I wasn’t getting anything spectacular so I grabbed my gear and started heading back to my van. Then I saw this bench and thought, “if someone was sitting there that might be ok”. I was by myself, so that someone was going to have to be me haha. Anyhow, I’m still not wild about the picture, but it’s just good enough to share I guess. 😉

Shot with a Sony a7R & Minolta 50mm f/1.2 at 2.8 – Lighting with iPhone.
Thanks for stopping by, Rob
I think it’s a great shot–beautiful bokeh.
Thank you so much! And ya, that lens does have a nice character to the bokeh hey.
“Reflections”……love the shoes!
Thank you! Sadly I got them all dirty yesterday by mowing lawn in them. Whoops! 😭 Oh well, I got tons of other shoes I should really start wearing anyhow.
Well, green lawn on green shoes…. let’s call it “texture”.🤔
Haha good call! 😉
Nice capture! How is your head lit?
Thank you! I had my iPhones flashlight on and propped up on the end of the bench. 🙂
Clever…
