I shot another short and sweet wedding last weekend. I met up with Katherine and Randy downtown on Sunday morning. As soon as everyone arrived to our first location it was straight to business! With less than an hour to shoot photos there was no time for a ton of set up and take down, mingling and mangling or finding legal parking for that matter haha. But since we all knew the score everyone didn’t seem to mind moving a long and being efficient with our time. It’s not often I get to shoot wedding photos downtown and we ended up spending most of our time in this one alley. One friendly guy stuck his head out of a window at one point and said he had seen a ton of photo shoots this alley before, but never a wedding, perfect!
After we wrapped up our photo shoot downtown we headed out to The Lake House at Lake Bonavista. The venue is beautiful, however we did not have any access to the lake for photos, but the view was nice. (I figured I better mention that to answer the inevitable questions as to why there are not photos by the water.) The ceremony was great and everyone at the wedding clearly had a wonderful time. Every person I had the pleasure of talking to couldn’t have been nicer, the bride and groom included! Thanks for having me be a part of your special day Katherine & Randy :D.
Thanks for stopping by, Rob
That little boy is a doll, but my favorite photo is of the groom holding the bride’s dress as they walk down the fire escape. Such great shots, Rob–always!
Thank you very much! That’s my favourite shot too! 😀 And yes that little boy is cute for sure!
Thank you Rob. Randy and I had a great time with you and love the moments you captured. That little guy is Miles…😊
Thank you Katherine! Definitely some fun times 🙂
I like the cell phone shots where the phone is clear and the subjects in the background are out of focus — a play on modern technology.
Haha ya thanks Grace. I just kept finding my self by people who were taking pictures with their phones :).
