I love old schools like the one in this picture. It is a perfect example of what comes to my mind when I think of a big old elementary school. The location of this school is just wonderful. Having the Portland skyline as a backdrop to this beautiful old building makes for good picture.
If anyone is interested, this school was originally called “Failing Elementary School”. The school named after former Portland Mayor Josiah Failing. The building is currently occupied by the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM).
Thanks for stopping by, Rob
Old schools like this one are pretty cool. I used to visit an office that was in an old elementary school and really enjoyed it. FYI – I went to Herbert Hoover Elementary School, named after the US President often credited with the Great Depression.
hahaha You too hey! ;). Hoover hey, nice one 😅
Great image Rob.
Thank you Norma! 🙂
