On friday evening I had some family in town and my father in-law was really interested in the DJi Phantom 3 Professional quadcopter I have. I decided to take him out and give him a little denomination of the unit. While we were flying it I shot this photo of the Calgary Skyline.

Nice shot, and nice toy…:), probably an expensive one too, always fun to have a new view to shoot from, I missed the days when I had to take the plane for the job and fly up North or from Montreal to Winnipeg, or Winnipeg to Edmonton and up North…
Thank you! You must have had some nice views on those flights :).
I have lots, but few I did post, each are old slides taken between 1982-86, and they are very dusty..so lot of work in photoshop, the remove dust of my scanner isn’t doing such a great job…the ones I did are in http://jmrart.net/photo/ air photo album or click in the album to go to flickr.
oops hope you don’t mind me putting a link
Haha nope! 😉
beautiful!
Thank you! 🙂
best son-in-law ever! 🙂 He must have enjoyed this!
Haha thanks, ya I’m pretty sure he’s hooked and will get one 🙂
Stunning!
Thanks! 🙂
Rob, I am giving you a virtual round of applause! 🙂 Great pic with your DJi Phantom 3 Professional quadcopter, Steep for my wallet but wishing I had one now after seeing that photo you took.
Haha do it up Michael! It’s super fun to fly that thing and I’m sure you would enjoy it 👍🏽😃.
Beautiful view of the night skyline. Having your own little UAV is better than hiring an airplane or helicopter for the same shot; more affordable too.
Haha ya for sure hey! Thanks David.
