We took a walk around part of Mission Creek Park yesterday. Of course I brought my camera, but I had no intention of climbing down any embankment of snow and rocks. However, there I was over looking the creek and I knew to get any kind of half decent picture I’d have to climb down by the water. The only problem with this is I was wearing my sneakers and not boots. But for the sake of getting the shot I just made my way down the embankment in my shoes haha. Next time I head to a park and I know there is snow, I’m just going to wear boots.
Shot on a Sony a7R & Canon FD 24mm f/2.8
Thanks for stopping by, Rob
Such a gorgeous image! It has all the hope of a wonderful new year. Just beautiful, you must be so pleased! (Minus the shoes)😊
Haha ya the picture turned out ok. And to be honest, my shoes didn’t even get that snowy! 😉
LOL, picture perfect on both counts! Has to use the pun….
Haha good one ;). Thank you!
Lovely photo – well worth the effort. You’re much braver (or more dedicated) than I am. There’s a beautiful creek not too far from my home, but to get a good picture I’d have to stop in the middle of traffic and then climb down a rather steep bank. Even in summer, I’m too skittish (and too old) to do that.
Haha I’m sure you’d be fine! Just take your time ;). I hope one day your walking by there and you decide just to do it. If you ever do, let me know because I would love to see that picture. Thank you for the nice comment. 🙂
