Here is a little Calgary Stampede fireworks action from Sunday night. Fireworks are always a struggle to shoot. You need get a good one in the first few moments or the smoke takes over the scene and it usually doesn’t look as good. Thankfully I got this shot off before the smoke got to crazy.
Thanks for stopping by, Rob
Terrific!!!
Thank you! 😀
Wonderful photo. Your timing was impeccable!
Well thank you very much! I am happy you like the picture 🙂
Just wow! The city and the firework together looks so nice.
Awesome, Rob! Sorry to have been away so long, been crazy busy. I’m going to really enjoying catching up on your blog, though. I’ve missed it and seeing what you’re up to! Have a wonderful summer! 🙂
I like the three levels of buildings that add interest to the photo along with the display of fireworks.
Such a splendid picture: wow! Pip and the boys
Super shot!! I’ve not attempted photographing fireworks yet (waiting to get a better camera for that) but I know my brother has attempted it and also video…it’s a tricky subject, but must be so rewarding when you get it right. Love the colours in this too…sooo vibrant, makes you feel you’re there! 🙂
Thank you very much Suzy! Ya shooting fireworks is fun for sure. It’s almost like a wedding, you only get your own chance, so you better get it right! haha.
A wedding….much more scary!! So many people to upset as well as missing the best pictures of the day. Oh, give me fireworks any day, don’t think I’d dare attempt a wedding! 😀
