I’m sure most of us have done this before as a child and some of us as adults. Not exactly sure why dragging a stick a long a fence is so fun for a child, but it definitely falls into the timeless category in my book. This picture is of my son Cameron when we were walking to the park one day. π
Thanks for stopping by, Rob
Cool shot….Very Mark Twain, Tom Sawyer-ish.
Haha thank you! And agreed π.
Timeless photograph…
Thanks buddy! π
The secret is that it’s a mix between the sound and the feeling you get in the hand.
Haha ya it’s good stuff π
Great photo Rob. Dragging a stick along a fence has the same appeal as clipping baseball cards on the spokes of a bike with monkey bars and a banana seat!
Haha for sure! The ol card in the spokes trick is awesome :D. I did that many a time my self π
Sounds, rhythm and movement all in one. Fun for every child. Great shot.
I was sure I replied to this haha. Sorry! Anyhow, yes that definitely sounds right π Thank you!
We could take a lesson from kids and enjoy the simple things. Such a cute shot.
Agreed π Thank you.
This is sweet. Soon my little guy will be doing things like this!
Thank thou Ellie! That is awesome, it’s so fun to watch them :). My other son Cam is playing this year too. He is 4 years old. I’ll be posting some pictures of him sometimes soon.

Brings back some memories.
Gorgeous shot! It beautifully captures what I think childhood should be about; independence and freedom to explore. π
Totally! Thank you π
