I shot this one on my last trip up to Edmonton this summer. The thing I like about this picture is it shows a little detail into the city. The baseball field for instance, it’s small, but it’s nice. The factory (or whatever it is) beside it looks like the field looks to have a wealth of history and then the buildings of the skyline surrounding them are interesting in their own way. Some buildings old, some older and some newer, it’s got a little something for everyone. For me personally, with out the baseball field and factory, I’m not looking to long ;).

Thanks for stopping by, Rob
Great contrast, both technically and in the subject matter.
Thank you.
I miss Edmonton (I grew up in St. Albert)! Thanks for the post.
Oh cool! Ya I like Edmonton, it’s nice up there.
Love the contrast, real crisp. At night, the ATB Financial building lights up with colorful LEDs so it would be good for a night shot at this spot. We should meet up one day.
Yes, I really want to shoot this same photo at night. Next time I’m up in Edmonton I’ll drop you a line. Are you on twitter? If you are hit me there at http://www.twitter.com/RobMoses
