I’m not a big landscape guy, but when I was driving through the country yesterday I couldn’t help but notice this row of trees. I thought it looked kind of cool so I pulled over and took a few shots. At first I thought it would have been better if the sky was completely clear and blue, but after looking at the pictures I like how the clouds kind of fade the sky in.

Thanks for stopping by, Rob
Such a typical prairie scene, Rob! We had lots of hoar frost on trees like this last winter – this winter is completely devoid of hoarfrost, unfortunately.
Yes, frost on trees is great! ๐
I love the intersecting fence and tree lines. The tree line was nicely placed. I agree, the wispy clouds work. All and all a very nice landscape. Thanks for sharing.
Well thank you Phil! I am glad you like the picture :).
Phil’s comment is spot on: great lines, perfect placement of the trees, wonderful tones throughout.
Thank Dan! I sent a guy your way regarding info about the Canon to NX converter. Did you contact you?
Haven’t heard from him.
lovely image; a great reward for a drive in the country!

Why not these trees for the first post ;).
For not being a landscape guy, you did a great job on this one! I like the layering from front to back of the frame – which really helps balance the photo. Wonderful shot, Rob.
That’s a good spot – I like the pastel tones – nicely understated.
Thank you ๐
Lovely picture – I really like the lines of the trees and fences. Have you tried it as a panoramic? Cutting the foreground off just below the first fence lie looks pretty good …. well, I think it does anyway
