There is a lot more life in the East Village of Calgary then there was a year ago. While I was living in Calgary there was always a decent amount of action in the neighbourhood, but it has got a lot more lively since I moved. A few new buildings finished up and some new stores and cafes are running at the street level. This little pocket of the city has been wonderful since they started building around here and it has only gotten better since I left.
