I have always loved Nelson, British Columbia. Ever since the first time I visited the town I knew I loved it. Nelson really seemed like the kind of place I could call home and enjoy living in. Nelson is really artsy and a dip down an ally can surprise you with something like this.
I could have done a much better job shooting this photo and I wish I did. On this trip I wasn’t sure if I was going to get another chance to be downtown to shoot photos so I was in a bit of a rush. I walked down the ally and when I saw the lady walking towards me, I didn’t want to just stand there and wait for her to go by, so I just snapped this photo and went on my way. Maybe next time I’ll take a bit more time and see what I come up with.

Shot on a Sony a7R & Nikon 14mm f/2.8
Thanks for stopping by, Rob
We’re getting more murals in my town, too–I love it!
Oh that’s cool. I hope I get the chance to see it for myself one day. 😉
I like the mural, in the alley 🙂
