Some of you might remember me mentioning I was going to be shooting a music video for a guy this summer (this guy). I have finally finished it. It was my first crack at music video and I think turned out alright. I didn’t realize how much work it was to get a whole video done! I had fun making the video, but the editing process was a little time consuming for my taste. Even though I had a lot of fun making the video, I’m not sure if I’ll do another one. My passion is in photography and I think I’m best off sticking with that.
The video was filmed over 2 days. I shot with a Canon 5D mark iii with a 50mm 1.4, a Sony VG20 with 50mm 1.8 & 18-200mm and a GoPro Hero 4 Silver on a Feiyu Tech G4 Gimbal stick. The editing process was lengthy, because I could only work on it at night after all my photo work was done and my family had gone to bed. As you can imagine this made for some long nights. Anyway, take a look at the video if you like that kind of thing ;).
My City
Thanks for stopping by, Rob
Yo Rob,impressing job Bro ,great and i know how hard it is believe me . Now something cold for Ya, what You miss in a video , a night scenes with a car inside when artist cruise at the city ,with a night lights or rain moments , something like that . You miss a girl part, soft scenes like sexy girl standing close to the river and looking far away , or slow motion moments when You see only eyes of that girl ,i have many ideas so next time please send me a message if You interested . But i truly enjoyed the video and song i want You to know that ,Bless Rob
oh i forgot , and more people on the street, regular ,poor or rich ,it doesn’t matter the city must live You know what i mean ?
Thank you and thanks for the ideas. You make music videos? All though I do like your ideas, they just don’t seem to fit with the theme of the song. Thank you for your input though.
Darn, Rob–this was amazing. Yeah, I could see where it could take so much time to edit, but it is seamless! Fantastic.
Thanks you!! 🙂
Okay, you are a fab director! He’s a very cool rapper. (A bit crotch grab happy) nonetheless, this is a sick piece… I luv it!
Wishing Oseino the best… he deserves it! Wishing you might consider more directing!
