Yesterday evening I caught this WestJet flight flying under the moonlight. I waited around trying to get another shot of a jet flying right in front of the moon. I came close as you can see in the 2nd picture, however the shot was not meant to be at that moment. Next time! ;).
Both photos have been cropped in big time!

I think they are both beautiful. Hey, is that Santa flying that plane? 🙂
Haha could be! 🙂 Thanks.
Beautiful, Rob!
Thank you! 🙂
Gorgeous! Pip
Thank you 🙂
Love this. Last year, I almost had my own jet-moon shot but I couldn’t get out of my bag fast enough to capture it in time! AAAARRRGH!
Ahhhh that sucks! haha. You won’t forget that one anytime soon lol.
these are beautiful even if they aren’t exactly what you wanted…
Thank you Heather 🙂
Wow this is awesome!
Thanks Michelle! 🙂
Gorgeous photos.
Thank you! 🙂
Those pilots had better watch out. Next time, they might hit the moon . . .
Haha for sure!
Great shots. I’ve tried moon photography a coulpe of times, but my lens is 104 at max and my camera isn’t full format. so it’s useless. The moon just looks like a small stamp.
Yes, a long zoom is needed for such a shot. Thank you :).
Great shot 🙂
Thank you 🙂
