28mm Manual Focus

Canon 6D DSLR Camera Vivitar 28mm close focus RL Edition manul lens Nikon to Canon EOS mount adapter

I shot this photo with an old Vivitar 28mm f/2.8 Close Focus RL Edition lens. The lens is a Nikon Mount and I got a Nikon to EOSย adapter from ebay to use it on my Canon bodies. This lens is crazy sharp wide open and at every aperture. I think it goes with out saying (but Im gonna say it anyway haha) that the bokeh with this lens is awesome! I wish they made a new auto focus version of it. I should really use this lens more often, because it really is a great lens.

Thanks for stopping by, Rob

  1. Reading this post is a big reminder that I basically know nothing about photography – – – apart from the fact that I like photos! ha, ha, ha! Anyway…I am signing up for a class in the fall. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Diana made me feel so much better with her comment. I’m still working my Nikon Coolpix until I can get a real camera, but the information you give about your camera and lenses is wonderful. Thanks so much.
