I shot this photo with an old Vivitar 28mm f/2.8 Close Focus RL Edition lens. The lens is a Nikon Mount and I got a Nikon to EOS adapter from ebay to use it on my Canon bodies. This lens is crazy sharp wide open and at every aperture. I think it goes with out saying (but Im gonna say it anyway haha) that the bokeh with this lens is awesome! I wish they made a new auto focus version of it. I should really use this lens more often, because it really is a great lens.
Thanks for stopping by, Rob

Reading this post is a big reminder that I basically know nothing about photography – – – apart from the fact that I like photos! ha, ha, ha! Anyway…I am signing up for a class in the fall. 🙂
Hahaha OH NO! I didn’t mean to make you feel that way. Anyhow, I am sure you will love your new class and learn a lot. Feel free to contact me and ask me any questions that you might have in the future :).
Thanks! You are very kind! 🙂
Totally awesome! I so want that lens . . .
Yes! If you can find one, get it 🙂
I do have a 50 mm manual f 2.8 lens and love to use it for the bokeh effect it gives
Nice! The old manual focus lenses are so fun to use 🙂
Diana made me feel so much better with her comment. I’m still working my Nikon Coolpix until I can get a real camera, but the information you give about your camera and lenses is wonderful. Thanks so much.
Seem like your Nikon coolpix is getting the job done :). Glad you are enjoying the things you find here!
