It’s been a while since I shot a wedding! In fact this is the first wedding I ever shot in Calgary. I just happen to work with Marae at the the real estate company I shoot photos and videos for and ended up shooting her wedding 🙂

I started the day out at the Marae’s mom’s house and everyone was having fun getting ready. I shot some candids and shot some of the details (shoes, dress & such). Once the dress was on, we were on our way! The church they got married in was huge! The lighting wasn’t to bad, excepts for at the back where they came in and out, but a quick ISO adjustment sorted that part out.

Before the formals we made a quick stop at Starbucks (my fav!) for a little coffee action and a couple quick pictures. Fresh on a caffeine high we ripped it out to a ranch location that Marae and Travis picked out. The sun was blazing right when we got there so the lighting was brutal (harsh shadows), but thankfully some clouds showed up to defuse the sun from time to time. We had a lot of time a the location so the shoot was relaxed and fun 🙂 After the the shoot everyone headed to the reception and a good time was definitely had by all, my self included 😀
