City buildings are so beautiful to me. The lights and just the general aesthetic of a big apartment building are so appealing to me. Everyone one of those lights has so much life within them. Each light is more than a simple light, a persons life is taking place within those lights. To me, those buildings are not just a marvel a human innovation, but a reminder that life is abundant and beautiful right in front of my eyes.

Now a bit about this photo. I shot this a couple days ago from the top floor of a parking garage. I have shot photos from here before, but I knew it would be way better at night. I also knew I would get a better photo in the fall or winter because it gets dark earlier and I’d be able to catch the building with more lights on. I am happy with this photo because it turned out exactly how I was thinking it would in my mind. When that happens it’s always nice.
