I saw the sunset starting to happen from my house last night. I thought about if I should go or not for about 5 minutes and then grabbed my camera and ran out the door. Pandosy Water Front Park is the closest place to my house by the water that’s good for photos. So I went straight to this park.
This photo is actually one of the last photos I shot. I tried a few other things before this. Some photos worked out, others did not. I’ll post more of those photos over the weekend and maybe a little bit down the road. For this shot I made my way to the end of Pier and shot a couple photos of this lady standing there admiring the sunset. At one point she turned around and asked me if I wanted her to move haha. I just told her not to worry about it and she was good there. I think next time I might just tell the person they are actually making the photo better by being there, because that is the truth.

The lady certainly did make it a better shot. She must live close by with her wearing her slippers. Probably more comfortable too.
Yes good observation! I actually didn’t notice the slippers when I was talking to her, but saw them right away when I was reviewing the photos on my computer at home haha. And yes, I think she must live near by. If she does and she frequents that park I’m sure I’ll see her again. I’m gonna keep an eye out for those slippers and hair! 😉

I had the same thought as Deborah about the lady in the photo wearing her slippers. Her hair looks kind of rippley, too, just like the water. Only her hair is vertical, whereas the water is horizontal. Another great photo, Rob.
