I was out shooting a few photos last night in Kelowna. I haven’t been going out at night as much as I used to. I usually blame my lack of going out on there not being enough city for me to get excited about here. However, I found last night that it doesn’t even matter how much city there is to take pictures of, the fun is in the picture taking itself. It’s easy to forget what photography is all about when the things that usually inspire you are no longer there to inspire. Lucky for me I have been reminded that my inspiration is in the joy of shooting the photo more than what is in the actually in the photo itself. Looks like I’m right back where I started.

Anyhow, last night I was driving around looking for a place to shoot a photo. I drove by this spot and when I saw the pond I though of this shot. After finding a parking spot I found myself walking through some tall grass to get by this pond. After I shot a couple photos I knew I had it, so obviously I shot a few more, I was shoot digital after all. 😉
