There is no shortage of construction going on around Kelowna. Plenty of new buildings going up downtown and around the city. 3 new buildings just in this one party alone. Some of the old timers don’t seem to like it, but as far as I’m concerned the more the better. Kelowna is small and there is plenty of room for everyone!

The nearest city to where we live, Colorado Springs, has undergone its share of new building construction – mostly low-rise and mid-rise new apartment builds – which have taken out some of the older neighborhoods in the “lower” downtown area. I would say COS doesn’t have a lower downtown district. For the moment, large cone zones have replaced new building construction.
I have heard of Colorado Springs, seems like a nice place. I’ve actually never even been to Colorado. Hopefully I can make a trip down there one of these days so I can see it for myself. 🙂
