Classic Mercury

I’m not really a classic car guy, but I can appreciate a nice car when I see one. I was just walking by this car and figured it was too nice not to shoot a photo of. Clearly the owner of this car as put a lot of hard work into this thing and it honestly is pretty awesome.

Thanks for stopping by, Rob

  1. It appears to be a 1967 Mercury Cougar. This design was used for the Thunderbird before it was discontinued. You can say Mercury simply did a name change from Thunderbird to Cougar. The Cougar was the Mercury equivalent of the Mustang. In matter of fact, generation 1 and 2 of the Cougar used the same frame and parts used on the Mustang. Generations 3 and 4 of the Cougar used the same frame and parts used on the Ford Torino line.
