iPhone Sunset

I was out picking up one last Christmas Gift and some stocking stuffers yesterday. While I was driving home I saw the makings of a wicked sunset! Sadly I didn’t have a camera on me, but I had my phone so it was going to have to do. I burned rubber down to City Park as it was the closest location that I though I could get good picture. I shot a whole bunch of photos there, but this is one of the better ones.

One thing I notice about an iPhone picture is that it looks awesome on the phone, but as soon as you get it onto a computer it completely falls apart. With that said, I was happy to have got’n any picture because it really was an amazing sunset. So I guess I should be happy about that.

Camera: iPhone 11 Pro Max

    • Thank you Lois! What Samsung phone? My other phone is a Samsung s10 Plus and I find the cameras on that model are better than the iPhone 11 Pro Max cameras. I still have my Samsung phone and am debating weather I am going to switch back to the Samsung or not. I’m going to do some more test today and try and decide.

      • Mine is a SamsungGalaxy J7 and is several years old. That might be the problem–it’s too old! Let me know what you decide cause it might be time for me to trade up. Merry Christmas to you and your family, Rob! Hope Santa Claus is good to your boys!

  1. Not surprisingly, Rob, the image is damn good despite it being from the i-phone. I’m looking at it on a 21″ screen here, and it details STILL hold up very well, even with zooming in. There is no substitute for the flexibility range of “real” cameras, and substancial telephoto, or macro lensing…but the differences are closeing every year. For a “simple,” always handy phone cameras, todays quality for photos (and movies) are impressive . M πŸ™‚
