I have walked by this rock many times because it is at a dog beach I take my dog too. I don’t think I gave it a whole lot of attention every other time I walked by it. However this time I was looking for a picture. I wanted the water and mountains in the background, but I really wanted something in the foreground. When I spotted this rock I knew this was it.

The rock is not a regular looking rock, at least not compared to all the other rocks around it. All the lines and grooves on the rock almost make it look like a piece of wood. Anyhow, the rock caught my eye and I think it’s an interesting bit to make a nice looking view just a touch more interesting.
