When we decided to go to Mazatlán I knew I wanted to shoot this photo. Before we even got to Mazatlán I even knew where I was going to shoot this photo from and how to get there. This photo was planed about a month in advance.

I love pictures like this because I enjoy being out at night and I like to capture the city at night. Things are so much different at night, there’s a while different vibe and I love it. I also find long exposures have some type of wow factor to me, so I always enjoy these types of photos. This photo in particular has a lot of the things that I like, a beach, boardwalk, buildings, mountains, palm trees and lights. It really has it all. Man, just listing that off is making me want to go back to Mazatlán right away! I’m pretty sure that’s not happening, but I’ll be back sooner or later.
