Watching the City

I have always loved living in apartments. Especially an apartment with any kind of a city view. I haven’t lived in an apartment for about 15 years, but I’m sure I’ll end up in one again one day. I just find it so enjoyable to be out on the balcony watching city life happen.

I shot this photo yesterday when I went to pick up Michelle from this apartment. She wasn’t expecting having to be in a picture, but I needed something and thankfully she was up for the job. 😉 The picture turned out just how I wanted, so I’m happy with it.

Thanks for stopping by, Rob

  1. Unlike the apartment blocks in Kelowna, most of the blocks in COS are the low-rise kind, 3-4 stories. We have a few mid-rise apartment blocks, but no high-rises. Apartment rents here, unfortunately, are high. Higher than most mortgage payments. In Denver, they have some high-rise blocks with balconies but come with expensive rents. I do assume they come with nice city views

    • Ya I really like the tall ones. I’ve only lived in a couple tall ones. All the others I lived in were the shorter kind like you mentioned. And yes the rents here are sky high too! And the buying price for these apartments in unreal too. I don’t think I’d spend 800K for an apartment in Kelowna. I might as well move to NYC for that. But ya, good views haha.
