We were walking

Both me and this guy were walking towards this corner at the exact same time. I had my camera in my hand and the cool restaurant sign caught my eye. I slowed my walking speed down a bit to the let the guy get closer to the corner before me and shot the photo while still walking. I love these types of quick photos that just seeming happen on their own. Street photography is great for that type of thing and I need to get out for more of it.

Thanks for stopping by, Rob

  1. Nice timing, Rob, for a cool urban image. I always feel self-conscious about taking photos of strangers and therefore rarely try to do any street photography. Of course, you captured the subject from the back and thereby managed to avoid the awkward moment when someone becomes aware that you are photographing them.

    • Thanks Mike. You should try it sometime. Most people on a city street aren’t going to have a problem with it. I’ve had load of people look right into the camera when I take the picture and I have never had a problem. If you’re really nervous about it, just go out when it’s super busy on the street. That’s when it’s the easiest. Sadly it only gets super busy like that around here in the summer time.
