Cities always look better at night. I shot this photo from the exact same spot as the last photo I posted. I took this picture with a Minolta 50mm f/1.4 and the last one was with a Nikon 105mm f/2.5. We were only staying at this place for a few days, but I kinda miss it now haha. I probably just miss living in Vancouver. I would image this location would be a pretty good place to live. Who knows, maybe one day we’ll move back.

When I did business trips to Vancouver in the late 1990s, the client always would put me up in a hotel. I usually was on a higher floor. The night view I found to be breathtaking. Unfortunately, I never brought a camera with me on those kind of trips. Not having a camera probably let me savor those views more.
You’re probably right about that. Sounds like you got to enjoy some really nice views. 🙂
