A Colorful Street

While I was roaming the streets of Puerto Vallarta one night I passed by this street. I thought all the colorful flags were a nice touch, so I walked to the end of the street and shot this photo. Puerto Vallarta is such a wonderful little city, I hope to go back again soon!

Stray Cat

I bumped into this stray cat while walking around a random neighbourhood of Puerto Vallarta one day. This cat wasn’t exactly friendly, well he wasn’t not friendly, he just didn’t wander over to me or anything. As I tried to get picture of him he immediately decided to walk off. I kept trying to shoot photos of him as he was leaving and I think you can kind of see it in his face (in the 2nd picture) that he wasn’t to happy about the situation lol. I’m sure he’s laying on a stone path in front of someones house over looking the ocean right now, so I’m sure he got over it. 😉

Nike Destroyer Hike

So my family and I went for a wicked hike just outside of Puerto Vallarta. I shot a little video along the way and thought it was worth sharing here. This is the first video I really used my DJI Osmo gimbal in and I am very happy with the results. I think I’m going to continue to use that gimbal for most of my videos moving forward.

A Night Down This Street

I shot this photos while walking around Puerto Vallarta one night last week. I didn’t have any plan or specific idea of where I was going, but I just started walking around and looked for a good photo opportunity. I wasn’t even going to bother getting a shot of that church down the street, because I’m certain it has been shot to death. However, while I was walking down this street I took a look back and I thought it looked nice in the background. I really like this picture because it is so far off from the streets I see back home. The scene is wonderful and it is exactly how I remember it looking to me in real life.

Waves

My family and I took a little hike out to a place called Colomitos Beach. The beach is about a 15 minute drive outside of the Puerto Vallarta and then you need to either do a 45 minute hike or take a boat. We did the hike and when we hit the beach the boys were loving it!

Skateboarding Around Puerto Vallarta

I spent a couple hours riding around on my skateboard in Puerto Vallarta one day. I cruised down the boardwalk and saw some cool statues, climbed one, took in the sights and saw some dude climb in a cage with a monkey! 😉

Puerto Vallarta Sunset

I shot this photo a couple of days ago on the first night we arrived here in Puerto Vallarta. It was a pretty wicked sunset and I have watched couple other good ones since. I think I am going to try to catch one from down on the beach one of these days too.

Off to Puerto Vallarta Mexico

I am happy to report that I am posting this from beautiful Puerto Vallarta, Mexico right now! We arrived here a couple days ago and have been loving the warm weather. All the winter back home in Calgary was getting a little old. It’s a travel day for the video, but I’ll be posting more videos from the trip while we are here :).

Don’t miss the sunset timelapse! It’s at the end of the video. 😎🌅
