90mm on a Leica rangefinder camera is kind of a strange lens. I love the compression and over all look of the focal length, but the box in the rangefinder of most Leica bodies makes using the lens a little more difficult then shorter lenses. The box in the rangefinder for 90mm is kind of small on the M3 and even smaller on any other Leica. I love the lens, but using is a strange experience because you really have to picture your photo in your head very well before you shoot your photo. That’s how it has worked out for me at least. Anyhow, I still like the lens and like using it. I’ll have to get out with it more this spring and share some photos taken with it.

Thanks for stopping by, Rob
This settles it. You are way more cooler than I am! 🙂
🤣 I’ll take it. 😉
Nice looking lens. Many years ago I had a Leica IIIf with a 50mm ƒ/1.5 and a 90mm ƒ/4. I got super sharp images from that set up.
Oh nice! That 50mm 1.5 must have been fun. I had a 90mm f4 before too. Good lens.
The 50mm 1.5 was a chunk of glass. Heavy lens.
Yes I guess it would be. Still must have been nice for when it started getting dark out. 🙂
