Rugby Wedding: Lindsay & Vinny

Clearly Lindsay and Vinny both love Rugby! Oh and their cute dog, who played a big part in their wedding. When I first met with Lindsay and Vinny they told me they wanted to do some type of Ruby wedding shots and right away I was excited, because I had never done any wedding shots like that and I knew it would be fun. When wedding time came around it wasn’t often I didn’t see that ruby ball kicking around and their dog was definitely there for everything too. Lindsay and Vinny were super fun and easy to work with. Their wedding party and parents were a joy to be around and I think we all had a wonderful time together!

NY Jets Helmet

rob moses 6d 50mm exif data canon

I have recently been working on a little DIY project and this helmet is the finished product. While I was down in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho this summer I found this old football helmet at a random thrift store I wondered into. For a measly $10 I thought why not pick it up and see what I could do with it. At first I wanted to make it into a Seattle Seahawks helmet, but no matter how hard I tried I could not find any proper Seahawks decals. Since the Jets are my 2nd favourite NFL team and I was able to source some decals via ebay ($36), I decided that was the way I would go. The cage was originally grey, so I bought a $10 can of spray paint and gave it a couple of coats. The helmet also had some stickers on the back that were extremely hard to get off, but once I got them off I slapped on the Jets stickers, put the cage back on and wa-la! Not a perfect replica by any means, but good enough to sit on a shelf in my office. ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh and incase you were wondering, no I did not get a before picture. Totally wish I did :(. Darn it!

I shot this photo with one 580EX ii, shot through a white umbrella to camera right.

Soccer Time!

Canon 1D mark iii exif data Rob Moses

My 6 year old son Joshua has started playing organized soccer this year and he had his 2nd game yesterday. He is playing for the Bridgeland Riverside team (Bridgeland Bears). They only got their uniforms at the last practice, so I thought it was a good time to shoot a few photos. The kids are so fun to watch at this ages because they are just out there having so much fun. It’s wonderful to watch the joy they get out of such a great game.

FYI: They won the game against the Mount Pleasant team 3-2 :).
